I don't think that Wieters made a bad play and I don't think that Pie made a bad throw, just sometimes you don't execute perfectly.

I do think that Wieters needs to improve in that regard. He's had problems receiving on plays at the plate multiple times according to my anecdotal memory.

Gary Torne is horrific. He can't identify any of the pitches thrown and has brought up Pies arm more then once. Pie has a very strong arm, idk what game he's watching.

It was slightly up the line, in the sense that it wasn't a perfect throw. I think maybe we've been spoiled by Markakis. But it certainly wasn't a bad throw. He gave Wieters a chance.
