Other Wabash Valley draft possibilities include Tyler Oliver, a sophomore infielder who signed with Kentucky, led the nation with 30 homers, batting .456 with 103 RBIs. Michael Mosby, a sophomore from Hancock County (Ky.) who signed with Western Kentucky, hit .451 with 18 homers and 82 RBIs. Jacob Rhodes, a sophomore catcher who signed with Murray State, hit .391 with 8 homers and 76 RBIs.

Michael Mosby has been one of the biggest offensive weapons for the Warriors this season. Mobsy leads the entire nation with 88 runs scored and he stands among the top 15 in hits (88), doubles (22), runs batted in (76) and home runs (17) and is 22nd nationally with a .454 batting average. The sophomore also has 18 stolen bases. He went a combined 4-for-7 with a home run, four runs scored, four RBI and two doubles in Wabash Valley’s first two games of the sectional playoffs.

The Hawesville, Ky., native has committed to Western Kentucky University for the 2011 season. He spent last summer with the New York Collegiate Baseball League’s Alfred Oilers. Mosby was an NYCBL all-star and finished the season with a .283 batting average, 43 hits and 16 runs batted in. He topped the playoff-bound Oilers in hits, doubles (12), runs scored (28) and stolen bases (16).
