O's draft 7 catchers and 7 SS

Sure, some of these players may switch positions and some may not sign. And I understand that the best player in HS usually plays SS in HS, but it seems like, initially, they are drafted as SSs. Interesting...

We drafted numerous SSs in 2006, but Rowell was moved to 3B, Adams to 2B and kept only Blake Davis at SS. I'm too tired to see if Jed Stephens and Tyler Henson were the same drafts, but they were moved off SS as well.

The best athletes on the HS teams are usually at SS and, clearly from the above, does not necessarily mean that Jordan intends our 2010 SSs to remain at the position.
