Ryan Ripken is just a sophmore?

Look at this video. Man he is a big kid for a sophmore. I think he has a chance to be as big as his dad.

Think the Orioles will try to draft him in two years?

My wife also thinks he has the Ripken eyes.

You can see he's considerably bigger than that as a sophomore - standing next to his father in the video - I'd guess about 6'4 210 then.

Yeah, he is atleast 6'4 maybe 6'5 seeing him stand next to Cal. Is he a legit prospect Stotle???? I am guessing so.......

Oops, sorry. I was looking at an old roster sheet. A July 2010 showcase has him at 6-4/180.

I wonder what kind of pressure the O's might feel to draft him higher than maybe he should be drafted? I don't know anything about him but if he is say a 3rd round talent, might the O's be tempted to take him higher out of love for the name and family?

I have no basis for this but human nature. It would almost be a form of nepotism.

Now maybe the kid will be a beast 1st rounder and this is moot? Maybe him and his dad are committed to him going to college too?

What if Ryan does turn out to be a great prospect and gets drafted by the Sawx or Yankees? Do ya root for him?
