Lee will probably be the most overpaid pitcher in the history of baseball as a result of this post-season. He's very good but I have a feeling his contract will be way over the top.

I doubt it. If anything, he was likely underrated going into the postseason.

A 5/125 contract wouldn't be that out of line imo for a team with a high payroll capacity.

That's probably right but not set in stone I think. They have the big TV contract. And new owners might want to make a big splash. But you're right, if NY really puts the hammer down no one can spend with them.
