    • I'm a Mountcastle fan, but I've been advocating for a move to 1B by Basallo for months, so I'd love that lineup.  Having said that, I still have doubts about Mayo's defense at 3rd, or 1st for that matter.
    • I would hope it was a humbling experience for him. Which means some adjustments are required.
    • Overhaul, maybe not but he seems very in tune with why he does what he does so I think he must have a pretty good idea why he was whiffing on so many fastballs, why he hit so few balls hard, and why he hit so few to LF.  I showed his minor league highlights which at one time showed no leg kick at all.   He’s made changes before.  IMO, he added the leg kick to tap into more power and it led to some bad habits that were exposed at the ML level.   I assume someone as smart and analytical as he is, isn’t going  to keep doing the same exact things that didn’t work, to say the least, at the MLB level.
    • To elaborate. In my opinion - Cowser isn't a sure thing but he is better defensively than Kjerstad. Don't get me wrong, but Cowser has to show he can adjust as major league pitchers work on him. Stowers is a step or two below. Santander may not be here next year. Kjerstad may become the best hitter in the trio with Cowser and Stowers. Sooooooooooooo, I'm not trading Kjerstad for two middling of anything because we will probably need that lefthanded outfield depth. Just call me Elias Light!😃 or Old or whatever.
