    • The way I see it in the grand scheme of things small details start to add up over the course of a 162 game season and can ultimately have an impact on results/success.     Not relatwd to defense but it makes me think of “You know what the difference between hitting .250 and .300 is? It's 25 hits. 25 hits in 500 at-bats is fifty points, okay? There's six months in a season, that's about 25 weeks. That means if you get just one extra flare a week, just one; A gork, a groundball—you get a groundball with eyes—you get a dying quail...just one more dying quail a week, and you're in Yankee Stadium.”
    • I have an explanation. It's baseball. It isn't the first time a switch hitter has switched back and forth on what side they were performing better.
    • Another good offensive showing for the Shorebirds today.
    • I am not at the point of have to bring up Mayo now. I may be there by the end of the month. Two examples I would use are Jackson Holliday and Austin Hays. Everyone including me were screaming for Holliday over Tony Kemp/Urias. We found out the kid needed more development. Austin Hays goes to Double A last night and reminds us why he’s a big leaguer by hitting a home run first AB. This is the same Austin Hays that looked lost in Baltimore. I can’t wait to see Mayo and a huge supporter since 2020 draft.
    • I really have no explanation but it is really striking. Hopefully just a SSS thing. The crazy thing is he is absolutely on fire batting RH to more than make up for his struggles on the LH side. Can't recall seeing anything like it.
