    • He’s hit .701 since April 12.   I don’t rule out him heating up.  I do think his EV drop (from 89 to 84) is quite alarming and supports your 50 lb. bat description.
    • What if on Friday they make these moves: 1. Hays in, Kjerstad out 2. Mayo in, McKenna out Urias lives as the UTIL IF, Hays platoons in LF and maybe CF, Mateo is an option for the OF if needed, Mayo DHs vs LHP, Adley catches more games vs LHP.
    • Fangraphs did a piece on his early success and concluded that, while his stuff has clearly declined, he was getting a ton of called strikes on what seemed to be hittable pitches, and expressed concern that it wouldn't be sustainable. We all have to hope that he's not as bad as he's looked lately, but there may have been a smoke and mirrors aspect to the first three weeks. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/call-him-butter-because-craig-kimbrel-is-on-a-roll/
    • Luis De Leon is the only guy you could conceivably call a future star on the Shorebirds.  So yeah, I think Basallo is probably the closest fit to what High Heat guy is talking about. Don't see that happening, and I don't see the A's trading Miller anyway.
    • High Heat on MLB just now is talking about the Orioles and Kimbrel and Miller.  They say NO MATTER WHAT Baltimore can not depend on Kimbrel to save games in the playoffs. The dude who managed the American team in the last WBC was saying Oakland would want a stud for when they opened the Vegas stadium.  He was saying maybe Oakland would want some mega prospect in low A ball.   This is kind of confusing to me.  Also do the Orioles even have a mega star in Low A ball?  Basallo is the best guy we have a long way from the majors and he is in AA already.
