C.J. Riefenhauser, 2014

C.J. Riefenhauser is one of the Rays' hot young pitching prospects.

Anyway, the kid is from Mahopac, NY (10 minutes from me), and he made his major league debut tonight against the Yankees.

A good debut, also. 4 up, 4 down, and his team won by a score of 16-1.

I don't know if this kid is going to stick, but he's from Putnam County, so I am taking the liberty of giving him his own thread (even if I'm the only one who cares.)
