Every offseason I can imagine Heyman, Rosenthal, and Olney gathering for drinks and laughs to make a free agent death pool. Death being signing with the Orioles.

They probably all end up agreeing to the same pathetic names and are right every year.

Buck is a big Posada and Varitek fan. He's talked them both up in the past. I could see one of them coming here though Posada's inability to catch (even in a backup role) would seem to make him more improbable.

Wieters (once, twice a week)

Then there's Scott if he comes back

Roberts if he can't field

Reimold (if Scotts around)

Obviously a DH is the last thing we need.

This was my initial thoughts. The article talked about him playing for the Florida marlins of Miami, which makes no sense. He can't go to the NL with no DH...

If you are him you almost have to retire unless he is happy being a PH-type player for a contender.
