He's still owed a lot of money this year (making $22 million) but he could be had cheaply, since his production is down, is owed a lot of money, and is a FA after this year. I wonder if he could essentially be a salary dump at this point.

From not following him closely but occasionally peaking at his game logs I had been thinking that his walk rate was way up and that's why he's just kinda sucked.

But, while it is up compared to some of his better seasons, his walk rates and K rates don't seem to be the biggest change compared to his home run rates. This year and last, it's probably been his most serious problem.
