What's maddening about him is that he does this about 80% of the time as a starter too.

I have no idea how he can pitch this well 80% of the time, then the other 20% of the time pitch like a AA scrub.

Truly, it's frustrating. But his potential is so great, I think they need to try him out back in the rotation at some point. Same with Britton and Matusz (depending on if we can add some true quality SP this off-season), though less so in their case.

Not a bad idea, but maybe just making it a six man rotation. Or maybe Jake and Pedro could switch roles.
