That throw from AJax was horrifically awful. Is his arm really that bad? From very shallow CF, his throw wasn't anywhere near home plate.

I get the feeling that Manfra's eyes are beginning to fail him. I sensed that Joe Angel was a little uncomfortable explaining to Fred what had happened on that play. We also routinely hear Manfra mis-judging whether a fly ball is a home run, and vice versa. Which is amazing, since I would expect someone who sees 81 games per year at Camden Yards, would have a pretty good sense of the ball's trajectory.

Sorry that seems to be the case, Fred is a pleasant fellow to listen to.

I think Ryan Flaherty should bat in front of Davis. That way, he'll see nothing but fastballs and hit like a superstar.

Bobby Dickerson obviously thought so. There was no hesitation on that.
