#40 today from Miggy. It just won't end. You would think with Davis being on pace for about 60 that he would pull away from everybody. Cabrera is so damn hot right now he could chase Davis down.

Anyway, it looks like Chris Davis is gearing up for one of his tremedous streaks again. It looks like hes back into his early 2013 form. His 4-5 with a double and a HR shows me that.

I think he's about to get real hot. The main reason Cabrera hitting these HR's bothers me is he's my 2nd most hated player in the MLB behind Ortiz.

A 5 HR lead is pretty substantial this late in the season. The odds are very bad that Cabrera catches Davis.

Cabrera with #41. If teams keep pitching around Davis to get to Jones, Cabrera could give Davis all he can handle in the HR race.

While Jones might not be as much protection as Prince Fielder. He's better protection than Matt Wieters.
