Makes sense, as Avery was a DFA candidate at the end of the season (or even upon Morse's addition). Morse probably sits in purgatory for a day before coming up on Sunday.

He may be the only player in the majors that has actually hit worse than Wieters and Markakis over the past 5 weeks
