How many of you here think they are doing some mechanical overhaul of Ubaldo in Norfolk, and it is less about the "ankle sprain"and more about the tweaking and hopefully getting him back to what he was last summer?

I hope so. He'll never consistently throw strikes with that delivery.

Mr League Average. Amazing how Chen never, ever has a dominant game!

June 11 vs Boston, 7 innings, 4 hits, 0 walks, 0 runs, 7 strikeouts.

No, he's not an ace. He doesn't go deep enough into games. But he has held the opponent to 3 runs or less in 13 of his 18 starts. And 1 run and 2 hits in 3 innings tonight. I'm pretty happy with a guy like that as the #3 or #4 starter. It would be nice to have the Nationals rotation and have a Fister or Gio Gonzalez or Jordan Zimmerman as your #3/#4 starter. But very, very few teams do that.

You have a point, but I can't fail him for taking a pitch early if he is able to work himself to a 3-1 count. I just have to give the pitcher credit for making two great pitches in a high pressure situation.

This guy's ball is running everywhere. Run up his pitch count so he can't pitch tomorrow.

True. I want to see our old friend tonight.
