I'm beginning to see the A's strategy now. This is Billy Beane's push for another book. He's going to set the record for most deadline trades and write a memoir in the off season entitled, "Billy's Rage: Moneyball Turned Upside Down".

Yeah, either Hundley or Clevenger was the trade that had been mentioned. Not getting a catcher. Giving one.

I am stunned the A's traded Cespedes. Coco Crisp has lingering neck issues and Gentry has a a broken hand and the two outfielders they picked up are medicore. Billy blew this one.
