scOtt
It sucks but one way to look at it is that they get these bad performances out of their system in a game where our percentage of winning is pretty low anyway. If that makes sense. Same with Brach yesterday. Series win.
eddie83
ZB purging before the upcoming Skanks series... it's OK 17 pitches for Zack, just didn't feel like our day, for an 8-3 game we had chances, kind of an odd game.
tntoriole
Better have all this out of your system Zach and Andrew. None of that garbage allowed vs. the MFYs.
Palmoripken
Win some lose some... too many wasted chances. But at least another series win and hopefully no ground lost. No ground loss regardless. At worst Toronto will be where we started but we gained on NY.

Jonesy10
What a terrible, terrible game. Offense was atrocious and continues to be terrible with RISP. Umpire was the LVP for the Orioles, squeezing our pitchers and giving theirs everything. And our pitchers got BABIP'd to death.
tntoriole
It seems like every time he gets two on its gonna happen. When he gets runners on, his stuff is not working that day. And similar to Johnson, if Zach's ball aint sinking, then we be sinking.
scOtt
Sunday, plus a chance to sweep. We don't play well on Sundays, and we don't sweep. Uncanny but true. I always used to blame it on sitting Wieters for the backup, but it continues without Matt.

But today there clearly were two different strike zones.

SteveA
Not only a crappy game for the Orioles but a LONG crappy game. 3 hours and 38 minutes and counting...

If that makes sense. Same with Brach yesterday. See you tomorrow.Bad day all around. Yeah, not that I though Zach would be that bad. I thought he'd still get out of it without allowing a run to cross. Perhaps the bright side is that after Zach gives up runs in an outing he tends to come back stronger for multiple outings in a row.
