A pitcher needs to pick his defense up when they make errors, but they are REALLY screwing Gausman so far tonight.

Actually, why isn't Flaherty in the lineup tonight? Kuroda is a righty, and it's clear that Flaherty hits better when he is getting regular PT. I want Flaherty to go into the playoffs with some momentum, and it's not like he needs rest from all his workload this season.

Gausman is throwing too many pitches. Aside from that, I'm not very upset about the results so far. He'd be fine if he could put together a few innings with 10 pitches or fewer.

In his defense, he's had what should be three errors behind him. That prolongs anyone!s count.

Gausman looks great to me, honestly. The defense is killing him.

He has the absolute worst luck out of all the pitchers.

Kevin's the one who gets stuck in the games that we're due for a loss

The one who plays when the defense is screwing up

The on who plays when the offense can't hit for their life

True, but the two runs that scored are on him alone. Jeter would've scored even if Johnson made the play.
