The Red Sox are 9 to 1.

The Orioles are 18 to 1.

The Yankees are 25 to 1.

This seems to be a sign that the 3 consecutive winning seasons that the Orioles have put together has stabilized the general view of the franchise. Not jumping on the 96-win, double-digit division title that the Orioles had last season and presuming a repeat, but also not dismissing it as a fluke either, as the odds at least seem reasonable.

Disagree with the word "hate" in the thread title. "Vegas believes the 2015 team will perform better than some fans currently do" would be more accurate, imho. Everyone on this board loves the Os, some just are more naturally pessimistic, some are not as baseball knowledgeable as others, some like to argue about anything more than others, some are more naturally optimistic, etc. , but everyone in the OH loves the Os, imho.

I mean are you kidding me, the Cubs, Mariners and Redsox have better odds at winning the WS then us? Thats just funny.

Mariners finished with 87 wins last year in a division that put two teams in the playoffs. Picked up Cruz, might be picking up another bat, and they possibly have the deepest pitching in the league with an ace at the top of the staff. Even if the Iwakuma fade carries over to this year (seriously, what happened to him in the month of September?), they'll get full seasons out of Paxton and Elias, plus Taijun Walker waiting in the wings. If Austin Jackson or Brad Miller take the next step...

I read that the Orioles' odds actually have dropped from the beginning of the offseason. They were 20-1, now 18-1. So somebody thinks we've had the right approach to the offseason, I guess.

Birdland is secretly putting all of his offseason paychecks on the O's.
