Who can say? Before 2014, you'd be hard pressed to say Cruz was the better player, since Rasmus was coming off a 4.8 WAR yeah. I don't think you can just judge a player by one year, and have to look at their careers and age... Rasmus simply has had a better overall career and is younger. Its not crazy to say he's the better player, especially if you expect Cruz to go back to his career averages instead of being a superstar player.

The numbers I posted basically showed that Rasmus has on average been about a half a win per season better than Cruz. Why do you think that Cruz is better?
