No, he didn't. But yep you are right and everyone else is wrong including New York!

Dude masn only has limited can views. STO ( Cleveland) showed 5 angles and all of them showing a brush of the glove on the hand. STO were perplexed on how he wasn't out on the challenge. If you have the home team announcers saying that.. Then you got an idea on how out he was.

I agree, this was more to give Norris a breather. Some of the camera angles made it look close. But from the side, the tag was clearly missed by 3-4 inches.

The problem I have is there is no way the umpire saw that. What he saw was the glove down beating him by about 3 feet. It is surprising that he called him safe. And calling him safe meant that it had to meet the "overturn" standard. If he had been called out, it wouldn't have been overturned either, imho. I would have called the guy out just for being a moron caught off second in that point in the game.

The umpires and the umpires (who have EVERY angle) ruled against it. Admit you were wrong and move on.

Ultimately, what matters most is that it didn't matter. No more runs.

Every time someone has made that bet before, they have been surprised with their loss.

There are only 9 innings in a non-extra innings ballgame. If both teams score in 2 or 3 innings in an average game, then it's almost a given that some will occur within the same frame. We all watch the Orioles more than any other team, so we certainly have a negative familiarity bias with respect to this idea.

Also, WHEELS WIETERS with the triple!!!
