He went 7 innings, so a lot of opportunity to grab different angles.

Ryan Zimmerman was on rehab assignment.

Gunkel's line for the night: 7.0 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K.

It's cool that he gets downward plane on his pitches even though he is throwing from so low down. I like his motion. Ends well, ready to field ... a Buck kinda guy. Compact repeatable delivery ... a Rick Peterson kinda guy. Should be able to keep a short TTTP.

De Aza's doing well for Boston, but that was a great trade for Baltimore. Gunkel could end up pitching important innings for the O's late this year.
