Well, on the bright side, I'm glad they didn't buy into the whole "Baltimore is too dangerous to visit" nonsense.

Come one, come all. Spend your tourist dollars here as we expend some runs on your team's behalf.

Meet the Mets

Meet the Mets

Come on out and

Beat the Mets

Ya met fans confirmed what i read/heard about them collectively possessing some inferiority complex. The knuckledragger behind me in section 17 that rubbed it in my dad's face (who actually commended mets players for fine plays to ny fans beside us) as we left can EAD

How in the world did a whole section get sold to all Mets fans?

I'm going to chalk this up to today being one of the "replay dates" for season ticket holders. So if you miss any game in your season ticket plan, you can just choose from like 15-20 "replay dates", and pay 1$ and go to the "replay game". Tonight and tomorrow are such nights. These 2 games are 2 of the last 8 available in the whole season on stubhub. So my point is that season ticket holders probably flooded the market with these seats and made it really cheap to get a whole section. Clearly those Mets fans had the good "season ticket" holder seats.

Tomorrow is Manny/Schoop T shirt day. It might be really close to a sellout.

Seriously, there were a lot of Mets fans at the ol' ballyard tonight. I was really surprised (from what i could see on television). Looked like an organized effort as one entire section was wearing blue shirts that read "Blue Invasion". There were also many more Mets fans scattered thru-out the stadium. Good for them---it's been a long time since the Mets made the playoffs. We know that feeling in B'more.

Highly irritating. I'll never understand poor sports like that. But I'll never get littering, baby seal clubbing and why do fools fall in love.
