I'm going to chalk this up to today being one of the "replay dates" for season ticket holders. So if you miss any game in your season ticket plan, you can just choose from like 15-20 "replay dates", and pay 1$ and go to the "replay game". Tonight and tomorrow are such nights. These 2 games are 2 of the last 8 available in the whole season on stubhub. So my point is that season ticket holders probably flooded the market with these seats and made it really cheap to get a whole section. Clearly those Mets fans had the good "season ticket" holder seats.

Tomorrow is Manny/Schoop T shirt day. It might be really close to a sellout.

Seriously, there were a lot of Mets fans at the ol' ballyard tonight. I was really surprised (from what i could see on television). Looked like an organized effort as one entire section was wearing blue shirts that read "Blue Invasion". There were also many more Mets fans scattered thru-out the stadium. Good for them---it's been a long time since the Mets made the playoffs. We know that feeling in B'more.

They arrived early as the gates opened wearing the shirts Paul noted, and other Mets gear. However, they were largely contained in the lower LF corner in one section. They were very vocal which made it seem like there were more of them.

I was at the game. There weren't more Mets fans than O's fans. I'd say it 60-40. The upper deck was almost entirely O's fans.
