Because this is where we are with him. He's fifth starter guy. the sooner we all acept that the better you will feel. He's a guy who will get you 5 to seven innings a start and give up 3-6 runs a game. He'll keep you in the ball game for the most part, but I agree, he's maddening to watch most of the time.

Exactly. Satisfaction (or lack thereof) with Cabrera is all about expectation. The time when he was considered a future ace are over. He's now basically a 5th starter with some upside and a maddening tendency to defeat himself. As long as you don't think of him as anything more than that, you're fine.

Why would they call for a fastball up in the zone with 0-2 much less call the same idiotic pitch on 1-2

Thats not Cabrera as much as its Ramon or Trembley or whoever is calling pitches.

Ramon is calling the pitches. That's on him...

Between the three of them, someone should know better. With nobody on, and as badly as Sexson has looked on breaking stuff in the dirt, I would have thrown him two before I served him another fastball.

But that's just me.
