I’d say Santander’s hit was the biggest of the day, but I think you give the game ball to the player who had the greatest total impact on the team winning, not who had the most impactful single play. -
True. The window is open, it was opened last season, it will still be open for a few years, but it won't be open forever. This organization had better do what it takes to extract a couple of WS out of this group, like the Astros did, because they will be gone and a new cycle will need to start. -
According to Moose’s logic, Burnes could throw 7 innings of 1 hit ball with 16 strikeouts but the Orioles don’t score until the bottom of the 8th when Jorge Mateo gets HBP with the bases loaded and the Orioles go on to win 1-0. Game ball to Jorge Mateo for changing the win probability the most. Yea!! LOL -
Elias' record should be counted from 2022. The previous seasons were, a-hem, "preparatory".

I mentioned it in the game thread that Westburg reminds my of Ryne Sandberg. Both big 2B that can hit for power and have speed. Sandberg is obviously better being a hall of fame player, but Westburg has been very impressive this season. -
