O's pitching has been pretty consistent the last 6 games

Pretty much been bad the entire season. Bullpen is taxed, playing down one of their best BP arms...and the rotation isn't good.

The O's bullpen ranks middle of the pack in most categories except ERA and the only reason the ERA is so low is because of Britton and Brach. Even that is slipping little by little, though. If only the Orioles could play bad

and/or struggling teams all season, they could go 162-0. When they get pitched to, they don't score and the pitching just keeps being bad. The Orioles will eventually be exposed for what they really are and I doubt it's

the playoff team many here think it is. We'll see though.

This team is constructed to score a lot of runs via the HR which makes them deadly at home. However when they play in bigger ballparks such as Safeco, Tropicana and Kaufman Stadium, the power gets neutralized and this offense is rendered helpless. Compounding the problem is that the Orioles pitching staff is just as bad at giving up HRs on the road as they are at home. The Orioles pitching staff needs to pick up the slack when they are on the road.

6, 5, 7, 6, 5, and 5 runs.

The offense had been covering up for a whole lotta mediocre pitching, not so much the last two games.

Yep while the pitchig could be better till this team stops making everybody Seattle sends to the mound Cy Young they own us.

Seattle is a player or two from being a really good team. They got lucky Cano turned it around, but with the talented young hitters they have and an all-time great in Felix Hernandez and a couple other good starters, it doesn't feel like they need too much to move to the next level. Too bad they traded Mark Trumbo for Steve Clevinger :D

We will be swept in this series. We cant win with Wilson and Ubaldo against a decent team.We are also, despite any attempt to spin it, a LOUSY road team.

We're won v DET, TOR, KC, and BOS, with Wison and Ubaldo these aren't decent teams? Odds aren't good but not impossible.

The bullpen is not taxed. The better guys have not been pitching much lately. The offense was scoring like crazy and we were pitching minor leagu guys in Toliver, Drake and McFarland who were giving up the runs. If you look at any good bullpen they have the guys they pitch when loosing and guys they pitch when they are winning and a close game.

But still in first place. Who would you want to give up at the deadline? I know they

arent the best but they do their best. IMO

Didn't they just play two games in one of the worst HR parks in baseball in San Diego? They scored 23 runs in two games, only six of which were on homers.

Didn't they also just lead the American League in every major statistical category (including hits and OBP, so not just homers) in June?

What is your definition of "get pitched to"? You mean "when the other team pitches well, the O's don't get runs"? By definition, isn't that true for every team in the history of baseball?

I can't think of too many balls the Orioles have hit for outs in these two games where I thought "that's a home run in OPACY." Maybe the Machado single where he got thrown out. I just think Seattle's pitchers are executing well. We didn't hit them in the home series with them either.
