He is not a 96-97 pitcher as a starter. He can throw it if coming in out of pen for short stints. As a starter in the future he will be 93-95.

That fastball was only around for about a month (Julyish). It started out 93-94 and,if you squint, it slowly built up to that midsummer peak. I am not sure what that means. Plus, if he can put 94 on the paint consistently it doesn't matter.
