Sounds like Gallardo.  Same team even.

That's fine, I maintain that they are very different pitchers. By the time Gallardo got here, he had almost no differential between his fastball and changeup. His arm was toast. Not the case with Cashner. 

You can have the same peripherals and different levels of success.

Except that he's only thrown 180 innings in a season once. And he turns 32 soon. His durability is a question, but I'll gladly take him at this point. He is a stud compared to most of our staff.

Yeah...usually I don't care for most of the FA signings regardless of the teams standings. 

I'm not convinced that his groundball success will help him in Baltimore as much as it did in Texas.
