The Baltimore Orioles have announced the following roster transactions affecting the Frederick Keys.

 

-LHP Zacary Lowther has been received from Low-A Delmarva.

-RHP Jhon Peluffo has been transferred from Frederick to Low-A Delmarva.

 

With the moves, the Keys roster stays at 25 active players, and an updated roster is attached.

Peluffo was the prospect the padres wanted in the rumored Ubaldo for Upton contract swap in 2016.

I’m glad to see that the O’s didn’t dawdle too long with the Baumann and Lowther promotions.    Let’s hope they continue to show well at Frederick.    

It will be interesting to see if Dietz eventually gets promoted, too.    He’s repeating Delmarva and is spouting a 2.74 ERA with 10.1 K/9, and a 1.61 ERA over his last six starts.
