Anyone find it weird that he is being used as "opener" on starter rest? Shouldn't he either pitch between starts or stretch out?

I thought Karns pitched well enough to go another inning today.  I guess Hyde has other plans.

Well, he did have soreness in spring training.  Considering his time off, all of last year, it would make sense to build him up slowly.  With dialogue in between, they certainly know more than we do.  Hopefully he builds up more, but I hope even more he stays healthy.

We do have him next year if we want him. Just take it slow and he could be back to being a good SP.

I kind of hope we stick to 2 innings every 3-4 days for as long as it is good.  It's over 100 innings if he makes it.  Two and shoo could become the opener's rhyme like five and dive.
