Manny would've made that throw. It was on-line, incredibly, but the bounces took enough energy out of the throw that it was too late to get there. Not a bad effort by Ruiz but Manny would have sailed it straight to the first baseman for an out.

That reminds me of when JS Bach Was chosen to take a position in Leipzig because the preferred candidate(G P Telemann) wasn’t available.
