Cobb on pregame said he pitched yesterday. In a minor league game in Sarasota I assume. I wasn't listening til halfway in, don't know how much he pitched. Like a full start I guess. Said he felt good. Had to sprint to 1B a couple time, NO problem. Said he's on track for his next start. Sounds like he gets the Home Opener.

I think that the first couple of weeks of the season should be in the warmer parts of the country, it is ridiculous to have baseball in New York in late March when it’s still 30°, when you could have it in Texas or Tampa or Houston where it is much warmer.

I'm not that far from NYC, 200 miles south? S'posed to be 75o here today...

If it’s 75° in New York City on March 30, I would really suspect that that is an outlier. But if it’s warm, then fine. I just think that the planners should anticipate typical weather at the beginning of the season and schedule the games in the warmer climates.
