Fastball must be straight as an arrow. The Orioles had a young closer in the mid-2000's, what was his name K-something, who had early success with a straight fastball but then hitters figured it out.

Three position players pitched for the Orioles before the end of April.That is a sad commentary.

If we can tie it up I think Sucre would be good for another inning.  He didn't throw many pitches.

How is he different than anyone else on the team?  Well other than having success in the past.  You cant cut everyone.  Especially with us being awful at our top 3 levels of the minors.
