Kimbrel really turned it around. He’s an all star as of now. 2nd in the AL with 19 saves. 0.99 WHIP. Probably better than Holmes heads up statistically.
Maybe we pick up that option for next year and take some pressure off Bautista and avoid pitching him back to backs.
Don’t discount stuff like that. These guys are all competitive and a small edge is a thing. An added chip on his shoulder. Sort of how both us and the Yankees had let down games from our tense 3 game series.
By the same token, I will not discount all the hard work Heston put in and especially put in after his demotion.
This isn’t the NFL. Sometimes you can go back to a player after “benching” them/sending them down.
I like this thread. We gotta start to walk the walk. Too much fear after every loss. I imagine we have the best record in baseball since Adley made his debut.
