I was pissed we pitched to him too…but let’s face it, Witt put the ball in play but he got lucky on that hit. Adley had a similar ball yesterday…but he hit 10 MPh harder and just so happened to be closer to the SS hole, so Witt was able to get to it. Even yesterday, it was just a well placed IF single. They got the breaks and we didn’t…but they also didn’t K a ton, weren’t swinging and missing all the time and put the bat on the ball. Good things happen when you do that. -

Probably should’ve went to 2nd on the sliding stop of Witt’s ball up the middle. He’s been out injured and 2B hasn’t been his home for 10 years. -

Should’ve had Perez walk him and then had Perez pitch to Pasqutino. If they pinch hit for Pasqutino then go to Cano.
