I would have had Scott in there at the beginning of the inning.  Strike outs were needed.

Big leaguers can make thows from the backside on the front edge of the infield grass and Major League catchers should be able to catch one-hoppers.

Agreed. the way he's been throwing the ball, not sure why Sulser was brought out to start the 10th.

The infield was in. The play was to throw home and he made a good throw. I'd love for it to be Davis's fault but that is 100% on Severino.

I see your point but disagree. You have to assume your major league teammates can play defense at a major league level.

Teams don't play "infield in" with the intent to concede a run.

That's the end result.  But it took a one hit hop throw from his butt.  The chances of converting that with Severino at the plate were too low.
