I agree.  I always look forward to them.  I miss the team so it brought enjoyment to see spring training games and at this time through the first week of the season there is optimism we may do better than the year before.

And Eugene Levy. He is a comedy GOD! His stints in the American Pie movies were brilliant! Even the off-original cast couple of movies, "The Naked Mile" and "Beta House", he MADE those movies.

I don't like it, but I understand why there is no TV.  They didn't want to put out the resources to bring a crew and equipment to Florida.   What I don't understand is why there is not 100% radio coverage.  If the talent and equipment are there, what else are they going to do?  Why not broadcast every game?

Wow.  The last time I remember that type of arrangement was the Washington Diplomats NASL soccer team in the late 70s.  They had a young announcer by the name of Jon Miller doing radio play by play and it was also the commentary for the games that were televised.
