Wild thing gets through the inning. 24 pitches, two Ks and two BBs, though in his defense, one walk should have a strike three looking. Valdez to close the 9th.

This is why I don’t like Scott in meaningful places. You never know what you’re going to get, the ump hasn’t helped, but today is the “not-good” Scott.

In all fairness he had Devers struck out on the 2-2 pitch. If Joe West does his job we’re talking about Scott having a really good inning.
