It's still the fifth, so it's technically longman territory. I'd rather see LeBlanc but it's not like he's that much better.

Well, with Scott, Valdez, and Armstrong unavailable, and Tate, Fry, and Sulser probably being saved for late innings, your choices are Plutko, 2 Rule 5 guys who would be making their MLB debut, or Wade LeBlanc.  

Seems like the righthander Plutko vs the righhanded Bogaetts is the exact right choice.

I have no idea, that’s why I asked. But everybody in the pen is fresh, Plutko Is not your only long guy, and it’s curious to use him.

You haven't been in many game threads with Phillips.  He hates all but two or three guys in our bullpen and complains when they are brought in, and rarely if ever offers an another realistic alternative.   He also believes in managing to win today's game at all costs and not worrying about the 162 games.
