The Mark Teixeira Watch part III

As a side note, he said Teixeira's wife was at the game with him. So that would lend a little more credibility to the Tex and her having lunch at the Hilton. I've hounded her so much about it in the last hour, that I may be sleeping in the spare room tonight.

Also, the Trooper said that he believes Tex was escorted from the wharehouse to M&T because he was arriving late to the game. Tex got to the game midway into the 1st qt.

As a side note, my gf isn't a big sports fan, she knows nothing of the Tex drama. So, she can't be pulling this out of the air.

Holy Cow! I've got the next two days off and hope that I can get something accomplished, besides hitting the refresh button on "Tex Watch III."

I think I will stick with my prediction from friday of 8/176 with perhaps a couple option years, and being wrapped up by mid-week! At least I hope so or else I'll have to go back to work and risk missing something.

You can always subscribe to the Tex Watch thread and get e-mails delivered to you anytime somebody posts something new...

But that might fill up your inbox pretty quick... :)

Did you not read the quote? He said he wasnt there during the 1st half. That is all he can vouch for.

OK, once again:

Just to maintain some perspective here, let's say Teixeira and his wife did, in fact, attend the game. Let's say they even stopped by the suite, grabbed some shrimp and shook a few hands - hopefully after reaching for a napkin. Terrific. How is this news?

If Teixeira was a Boston native, but attended a Ravens game, that would be big. If the Rangers were courting him and he was seen eating a bowl of chili at Texas Stadium tonight, that would be big. But he was born in Annapolis, grew up in Severna Park and attended Mount St. Joe. It's the holidays. I wouldn't read too much into his trips downtown.

The Orioles are trying to sign him. Team president Andy MacPhail admitted that he wouldn't feel nearly as good about the winter meetings if Teixeira ended up with another team. I hope he had a great time today and decides this is where he wants to spend the next eight-to-10 years of his professional life. But he didn't share a soda with Peter Angelos today - enjoy the image of one cup and two straws - and he won't be taking a physical tomorrow.

I can confirm that he was NOT in Section 136, Row 33.

Now all we need to do is have a few thousand other posts like mine, and keep crossing off rows of seats, until we have figured out EXACTLY where he must have been sitting by process of elimination.

The power of the internet is amazing.

He wasn't in Section 135, Row 35 either. Steve we were apparently pretty close to each other though.

I guess that leaves 71,500 fans left out of the 71.502 who were there...

What is your point?

If Mark Teixeira was at the game it had nothing to do with the Orioles. He's from Maryland. There was no physical like people claimed. I dont understand why people keep reading meaning into this stuff. We can't say with absolute certainty that it didnt mean anything - BUT there is absolute no positive evidence that it meant anything... so there is nothing to get excited about.

He didn't even say that- he said the 1st quarter and START of the 2nd quarter. The post said he arrived AT THE STADIUM during the 1st quarter. Maybe it was nearing the end and he got a drink and hot dog first... well, probably not- the food in the suite are much better... but who knows.

I have given up on this.

has been playing on my computer for about 2 hours now, as I have given up on studying for my final tomorrow and have taken two doses of Nyquil because of my cold.

Getting stuff accomplished is overrated. :laughlol:

Do you think no one would have heard about this or leaked it if this happened...?

Word would have spread like wildfire, and again, it wouldnt mean anything anyway according to Roch.
