BTW, in what seems to be another recurring theme for the season, we seem to be hitting teams at just the wrong time. The Giants came in to BAL on a terrible run. Since taking 2 of 3 from us, they've won 5 straight against contending teams Kansas City and Arizona. They have shutouts in 3 of those games and allowed 1 run in another. -

Personally, I think the crowd that sees no value in what Kremer is / provides is significantly larger than the group that thinks he's a high end MOR (let alone a TOR) starter. Kremer is a #4 or #5 on a good team, which is very valuable. He's probably our #3 currently, due to injuries. -
The last time we thought that he came back and had one of his best runs of the season. But I agree with the rest, I'll take Kremer. -
I think that’s a wrap on Kremer’s regular season, as he’s on turn for Game 162 but probably will be passed over to line him up for Wild Card Game 3. Kremer’s ERA+ was down from 99 to 92 this year, but in my opinion, he made some strides. He developed a split-finger pitch that could be really nasty at times, and used it 18.4% of the time, essentially substituting it for the change-up he threw 12.3% of the time in 2023. His xwOBA on the splitter was .246, compared to .319 on the old change-up. We saw the best version of Kremer down the stretch, throwing to a 2.98 ERA, 1.15 WHIP in his final 8 games, during which he allowed only three homers. I think we could see more of that version of Kremer in 2025. And hopefully, we get that version this postseason.

Love what Suarez has done for us, but I’m going with Kramer for sure. He is finishing strong, has the better track record. -

Over the last 3 seasons, he's shown us who he is. A solid back-of-the-rotation starter. He gets underrated by those who expect him to be more than that and he gets underrated by those who think there's no value in that.
