I think Tony will go Henderson/Rodriguez, but I voted Rodriguez/Henderson because that’s my own opinion.   Plain and simple, I think Rodriguez would have had a very successful major league debut last year if he hadn’t gotten hurt.  His injury shouldn’t have any lasting effect, so I’m confident that he’ll be an excellent major league starter beginning this year.  Of course I like Gunnar, too.

I voted Henderson/Rodriguez, but I agree with you.  (And still sneak into the Gunnar fan club meetings.)

I picked Henderson/Rodriguez but I'm starting to think Rodriguez/Henderson.  Tony says that a lot of what goes into his thought process is that if all things were equal, who would he most like to keep in the organization.  If it's down to these 2, it's a tough call... but leaning to a potential top of the rotation starter when we are incredibly starter thin would not surprise me.

I don’t think Tony considers the organization’s particular needs when he makes his list.  Certainly if need were a factor, you’d have to go with Rodriguez.

Barring a cruel joke I'm a #1 Henderson #2 Rodriguez from a complete sweep.

I went Henderson-Rodriguez but Tony can sometimes be contrarian. When it is SP vs position player, it is not apples to apples so you could go either way just based on valuing one or the other more. Plus Gunnar could have an issue with lefties!

I voted the same way. I think GRod is going to be really special.

I'm going to pick on you because I know you can take it.   I've seen others use the same reasoning.  BUT, I don't get it.   The poll is for guessing who Tony is going to put in each of the first 10 spots.   It's not about your list.   It's perfectly fine if you have a difference of opinion and want to say who you would put in what spot but WHY IN THE WORLD would you vote a choice which you are sure is wrong?    This isn't a poll asking what you think.   It's a poll asking what you think Tony thinks.   GEEEEEEEEZ!   🥶

I know that, but sometimes I just like to dissent.  😉

    • I know. I'm a hand wringer and a whiner when it comes to this team. I sometimes annoy myself with all this baseball nonsense. But really deep down,I'm still the 8 year old who lived and died with every Oriole game. Still. Im that kid. So when this team was really horrible like for most of the second half, it almost made me nauseous just to watch them lose in all kinds of ways. Then all those injuries in a wave. I really felt they weren't going to make the postseason at all. But baseball is a crazy game, and a light switch can be turned on in an instant. Maybe that Santander walk off HR on Thursday threw a switch. Because Friday night, this was a different team. They still strike out a lot, and Burnes was brilliant, but I feel maybe something is moving. Seeing Coluombe come in and strike two batters out, and Webb, not as good, but good enough with a big lead...and to see Cowser and McCann blast two, and Tony again with a HR...It got my juices flowing. Look, maybe they wont play well this weekend, maybe they will. And then the dreaded Yankees might break our hearts next week. But why think that way now.?Urias is coming, then Westburg, then maybe Mounty, and even possibly Grayson at the end . If we can somehow put the pieces together and get our mojo back, and have the players contribute, we maybe, just maybe, might have a little ray of hope.I still think this roster is talented when all our pieces are together, and as good as anyone when we are playing well. So, I'm not asking for a miracle. I'm just asking for a chance to see this team with most of the pieces together again, and compete.Maybe it's even a long shot, but I am still that 8 year old living and dying for a chance to see my boys make me proud. And these are my boys.
    • Velocity was 1.5-2mph down across the board. Movement was good, especially the sweeper. The fastballs worry me at that velocity though... not sure he should be immediately high leverage in the way he used to be.
    • Nicely done. Lol. Yes I remember that with Minnesota.
    • Is there any chance of the Orioles catching any of the teams in front of them with large crowds over the weekend?
    • Wells and Cowser are neck and neck in terms of fWAR. Could go either way
    • Joey Ortiz was in the running for the National League ROY for a while, but there’s too many other guys. However, he will almost certainly be a gold glove finalist, and the Brewers are all very happy to have him. I hope Colton wins, but if the Yankees win the division, as seems likely, I think the national love will go back to them
