Advertising on jerseys

I heard all the Oriole players were wearing an AD patch except Frazier.  Can't remember source but it's  in my head somewhere around here.

It makes sense from an advertising standpoint. All the games and all team members having them on. That’s a ton of exposure.

Yeah. A stadium is like having a billboard in a city. A uni patch is a 3 hour television advertisement. Plus, replay clips all over the internet and TV. 17 million is about what a football stadium costs annually. Bet NFL goes this route next after seeing that number.

If it's simply a patch on the arm, doesn't bother me at all. Obviously, the advertisements on these jerseys can't get really out of hand, but if it stays as a patch on the arm, completely irrelevant to me.

It's odd that they're announcing these all on the same day.  

D-back was yesterday but I am not at all surprised they are dropping a bunch of these at once, almost as if they were colluding.

Right.  I see it as it is what it is.  Almost everyone in the NBA has done it.

I feel like this should bother me more than it actually does.  

Then again, I'm also the guy who has an (probably) irrational hatred for jersey's without names on the back of them.
