In the situation the O's are in, I don't think that matters. He's not worth the spot he's taking from young guys that are ready for MLB.

If they're serious about wininng the WS, Mateo needs to go.

We were talking about 2023, not  next year. I have no opinion yet as to whether he should be or will be on the team.

And how did Mateo's 2023 turn out? He was the best SS in MLB the month of April. I was saying here that he should start every game. Then what happened? He was terrible. He took the spot that Westburg should have filled the entire year.

Time to go. Don't waste the arb money on him. Use it on a FA SP.
