Thursday afternoon May 4: rubber match in KC, Orioles try to win 7th straight series

This is crap.  Horrible game.  Horrible pitching.  What the hell is wrong?  Greyson really screwed us by crapping the bed with a 8-1 lead.  That guy did us no favors.

I see that the Orioles were winning this game 8-1. Against a bottom feeder. Pitching has given up 14 runs so far in less than 24 hours.

Makes me fear for the future.  This has the feel of a deluge game.  The beginning of the end type game.

Everything is smoked by their offense. I mean it's like every contact they make is very hard contact...a lot of them fouls.

Not surprised we coughed up the entire lead, seemed inevitable, but I am shocked that Hyde wasted Cano on this CF. There are games where you need to play/pitch the last guy on the bench and just let him get his brains beat in.

We have only six hits.   Our offense isnt really doing much either actually.

This game seemed inevitable.  We are only a month into the season.  Even with 20 wins against mostly bad teams every game has been a fight.  Royals seemed to suddenly wake up against the Os - all it takes is a little bump in intensity, raise in confidence level - an individual player stepping up - Bobby Witt Jr and it all changes.   Os pitching remains highly sus - Elias knows it and it’s not in a position to hold off better teams for the next 5 months.   Loss today and sweep in Atlanta looks likely right now.
