Kjerstad tea leaves

No information, just speculation. Kjerstad was not in the lineup last night for Norfolk. With Hicks still sidelined could a roster move be coming?

I know it seems like a stretch since O’s are on the West Coast for only 2 more days. Anyone have any information either way??

He’s been out since the first game he came back from the injury because he hurt his back.

I hadn't heard about this. Any word on how long he's expected to be out? I'm guessing since he isn't back on the IL they view it as day-to-day.

If Hicks has to go DL it would probably be McKenna or Cowser to avoid 40-man move. I love Kjerstad and hoped he would come up Sept 1 but he is in a 2 for 24 funk over the last 6 games. SSS for sure but he is playing his 1st year of full year ball after 2 years of downtime.

Hyde said after the game last night that Santander has some soreness and that is why he came out in the 5th inning last night.  He could be day to day as while.

meh he can sit on the injured list and if needed due to other injuries down the final stretch activated if even able.

Some guy writing for the New York Post is spreading a rumor that the Orioles are actually considering the possibility of calling up Jackson Holliday for a cup of coffee at the end of the season.

I don't buy it, but if it's even half true, then that would sufgest there's 0 chanche of Kjerstad being called up, especially when there are players on thr 40 man roster like Ortiz and Stowers who have seniority over Kjerstad.
