As a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan who sat through the four straight Super Bowls I can tell you losing hurts more than winning feels great... and it does not fade away. I may be more nervous about that feeling (losing) than playing Texas.  The feeling sucks but will not diminish the great six months+ this team has given us.  Pffft it's just a game? bah humbug

O's starting pitching is in the best position its been all year.  And as Hyde says " We will go as far as our pitching will take us."   Bradish, GRod and Means are strong and confident.  Hitters score one more than the other team and will fight until the last out is made.   I feel good about beating Texas and Houston.   Its Atlanta.

This season was amazing.  The only way to really dampen it is if we get killed ala Tampa Bay last round. That would leave a sour taste in my mouth.  I would get over it eventually, but that would sting for quite awhile.

Great season so far but I won’t be perfectly happy with a 100 win season that ends in disappointment.  That’s garbage.

I am going to enjoy this week and not be disappointed. We are one of the final 8 teams with 4 teams that have a 250 million$ payroll. This team is battle tested and always gives 1000%. That’s all I can ask as a fan.

I’m with Roy.  Since they added the wild card the MLB postseason is the biggest crapshoot in North American professional sports.  Nothing that happens this week or month can take away what the O’s accomplished over the past 6 months.

Want to win. But understand that the playoffs are set up such that the best team loses 80%+ of the time.

I have a hard time working myself up to very upset when it is a matter of a group of folks I don't personally know playing a game against another group of folks I don't personally know.

I guess I'm not young enough anymore to get that level of invested in something I can't in any way influence.
