I think the D-Backs got 14 runs in an inning on opening day. We may give that a run for its money today.

In 1983 there was the famous TIppy Martinez 3 pickoff game, won by Lenn Sakata on a walkoff HR after he had to cach the top of the 12th.

Also in that series, was a great pitcher's duel, I want to say it was 0-0 into the 10th and the Orioles walked it off, I vaguely remember it might have been on a Dan Ford hit.

Then there was a 3rd game in that series where Toronto blew the O's out.   That was the game in that series that I attended, unfortunately.

I'm going tomorrow.  I hope it's not similar, where there are two memorable games and I get stuck with the dud.

I feel bad for Ron Washington. I know he has a past and all, but he's a good baseball guy. I'm sure he's happy to be a manager again but damn, the Angels are terrible.

Based on Hyder’s sidebar with Anthony after his HR, I believe Cowser is coming in. Colton Need a bb or hit/error without a double play for his first 2024 AB

In years past, I'd say lets save of these runs for tomorrow. Don't think that's necessary this year.

Noticed this in person during spring training, but the performance Jersey white pants are just awful.  The orange tops (which I love) just show thru and dirt stains look like a #2 stain (vs chalky dirt on classic cotton/wool unis).  Hope MLB gets the message and goes back on this decision.
