It looks like he is pitching slightly more to contact to me. He's even said he feels like he is but that he knows he can get a K if needed. I think he trusts our defense.

The Cardinals started the year 15-24 but have gone 29-17 since.   They were just starting their turnaround when we got to town there in May.

If having an ace is still the barometer of a contender, I think the Orioles should try to sign him. They probably can't compete in money per year, but they could extend a 10-year offer.

Seems reasonable. As long as he gets outs I'm not particular as to how he gets them.

just so frustrating,,,when we get a runner at second and no outs..its almost a guarantee we wont move him over...to third with 1 out...

Agreed, he's still hovering around a K an inning, it's not like he's getting by with 7 K/9.
